As part of a SABC Foundation Legacy Project, Focus was produced by Asanda Empires & N’lava cultural group to highlight some of the oldest languages in South Africa, namely !Xun and Khwedam
The video portrays the story of a young girl who is told to focus on life as she grows up becoming a woman. She is driven by her talent and wants to make it in life by exploring the opportunities in the big city. A young artist from the big city hears about her ambition and reaches out to support her. Her family then accompanies her to the big city and encourages her to be aware of the destruction of live and reminds her to stay focused.
