MEC Lesufi to host the Matthew Goniwe Memorial Lecture
The Gauteng MEC for Education, Mr Panyaza Lesufi in conjunction with Matthew Goniwe School of Leadership and Governance will host the annual Matthew Goniwe Memorial Lecture on Thursday, 10 May 2018.
The Lecture will commemorate the life and times of Matthew Mateu Goniwe under the theme, “The Pursuit of Excellence in Learning and Teaching in the 21st Century,” and honour the legendary educationist and political activist, as well as open a dialogue on trends and issues pertaining to education in the 21st century.
The Minister of Basic Education, Mrs Angie Motshekga will deliver the keynote address.
