We pride ourselves in giving listeners good music and recognising quality music. Continuing on that METRO FM is bringing Afro-Soul artists to three Provinces:- Eastern Cape, Western Cape and Gauteng.

METRO FM Up-close & Personal is all about promoting and unearthing Afro Soul talent provides an ideal National Platform on which local artists like Thandiswa Mazwai and our very own Unathi have been launched.

First segment

DATE/PLACE:  August in Johannesburg

PERFORMANCE BY:  METRO FM will show case an Afro-Pop musician whose music is on the METRO FM repertoire. 

Metro FM invites you to be part of an intimate crowd, to gather in an ambient environment and listen to a one hour live performance – which is simultaneously a broadcast to a national audience.
