Birthday Themed “REWIND” throughout the month of September and this weekend we invade Rustenburg!

 

It is safe to say that as a Station we have a lot to celebrate.  Not only are we celebrating our birthday but as the largest commercial urban Radio Station in South Africa, we have a lot to be excited about! 

 But over and above that we are a hip and happening station, we are relevant, we are a trend-setting station that entertains, informs and most of all celebrates with our audiences! 

We also pride ourselves in boasting a pool of the most celebrated and popular  DJ’s in town!

Friday, 21^st

So this Friday catch The Secret Ingredient (TSI), presented by Amon & Thato broadcasting live from The Maze in Sun City and Audiogasm presented by Lulo Café and Naked DJ live in Rustenburg, News Café, at the same venue join us for the METRO FM Pre-Party with your favorite METRO FM DJs on the 1’s & 2’s!

 Saturday, 22^nd 

Live broadcasts from the Valley of Waves with Ismail, Brunch With A Smile & Dj Sbu on the Sound Revival. Thereafter we hit the METRO FM afterparty at the Rustenburg News Café featuring crooner Donald & Bantu Soul! 

And spinning the discs will be our very own DJ Sbu, Glen, Amon, Ismail and many of our other DJ’s!

 

 Sunday, 23^rd

 Join us at the Royal Marang and Bafokeng Sport’s Campus for the annual Queen Mother’s Charity Polo Cup.  

METRO FM has partnered with the Royal Family for this auspicious ultimate lifestyle sporting event and two of our shows on Sunday will broadcast live from the event, and that will be the Chill Factor presented by Paul Mtirara and the Romantic Repertoire by Eddie Zondi! 

 Last but not least will be a special guest performance by the popular Loyiso Bala.
