27 October : Tambo family unveils monument to ANC stalwarts

A memorial was presented this weekend to the Tambo family in memory of their famous parents, grandparents and ANC stalwarts, Oliver and Adelaide Tambo. Political and business leaders arrived to celebrate the honour to the ANC’s longest-serving President, Oliver Tambo and his wife, struggle heroine Adelaide while various statesmen and business people showered the couple with compliments of how they lived their lives.

Many spoke of Tambo's leadership style, characterised by a set of strong values from which he never deviated. Tambo's family recalls the close relationship that he enjoyed with his wife and says it's fitting that the two should be inseparable in death. They hope the memorial will become a place of solace and refuge to all South Africans.

Oliver Tambo would've celebrated his 91st birthday today.

While you're at it,pliz...I mean pliz get Steve Biko's "I write what I like".If I were government I would make sure that kids, black kids in particular read that book while in primary school.not bcos I want them to hate whites but bcos they must value their blackness,be proud of who they are and then go on and live their lives to the fullest, explore all the possibillities that this wonderful country of ours presents to each and every one of us...black ,white, indian and coloured.I call that book a black man's bible.

UNDISPUTED SAYS:

28 October: viva!!!! fellows Codzz, its still so puzzling for me to see fellow citizens still applaude for Mandela, as if he was the first person who fought of our liberation......how about likes the of later Olive Tambo, chris hani, Robert sobukwe, Achmid kathren and Albert luthuli.....

I am not hide the fact that Mandela has done so much for our country, but please people lets us try to applaude our follen heroes!!!

for further references please visit Robben Island museum, you see what i am talking about...........

As for Terror lekota, therea are the thousands who have been groomed by the ANC to be ready for leadership who are to fill in the positions that were left by Cod lekota and his travellers. they just a phone call away.
