20 February : Lerato Sengadi of Big Brother Africa II is preparing to marry an 8 year-old boy…
...from Swaziland. Before you start frowning, hear this out. The boy, named Muzi Sifundza, has a terrible sickness and desperately needs a new kidney, and his mom has agreed to donate one to him. Sadly the Swazi authorities will hear none of this, so he came to Mzansi to try and see if the op could be done here. Unfortunately he has to be an SA citizen for the op to go ahead, hence the marriage. Lerato is seriously looking at the legal implications of her plan to save the child.

NOMZAP SAYS:
21 February: I think what she doing is very noble of her because not every one will be to do what she has done for the boy in pain. South Africa please lets not only the bad side of other people we should try by all means to good in people even thy are tring to seek attention from us if that the case anyway. We all know marriage is a big step but I am sure they will be to get that marriage as time gone on. So please people lets not punish the boy for issues we have with Lerato.
TOOLE SAYS:
21 February: YOU WILL BE BLESSED FOR SAVING THE CHILD'S LIFE DEAR........ GOD BE WITH YOU AND THE LITTLE BOY!
LEBZALEBZA1 SAYS:
21 February: Ya melao ruri, what if the little boy fell terribly sick while in visiting SA and his condition was so bad that they had to operate, are they going to wait for the home affairs paperwork to attend to him, something are so unrealistic.
Lerato, she does not want us to forget her - public attention but I am just asking myself why is she doing this? Well if it feels right go for it.
BONGIS SAYS:
21 February: Isn't there anything else that can be done to save the boys life. Lerato wanting to marrying an 8 year old is really not a great idea.
PANTUJR SAYS:
21 February: There is no abuse what so ever in what she is trying to do,lets stop saying negative things when some of us are trying by all means to help!!!!!
MNISI SAYS:
21 February: hi dear well all i can say is that my the Lord God be with you and the boy not a lot of people can do what you are doing it takes a lot MY GOD BE WITH YOU
DMX SAYS:
21 February: Can't she adopt the boy as her child for a while? Hoping the prosess is fast tracked so it is time for the transplant.
Why send the child to SA if he can't get an SA donor?
ZHUZHU SAYS:
21 February: i think she must just adopt the baby rather than marring him, anyways she is doing good
BLACKBERRY SAYS:
21 February: I honestly think that what Lerato is doing is a good thing, if push comes to shuv then i guess she has to marry him. And all you Lerato haters just need to get a life and start growing up! BB is the past dont dwell on things that happened in the past!!!! at least shes doing something gud, what have you done to make a difference in the world or to help someone? If marrying an 8 year old boy to help him is a publicity stunt then you need to do some serious thinking and i doubt that hating on Lerato will make any difference in your life and i dont think you make a difference in hers!!!!! So Lerato i wish you all the best in everything and God Bless you!! And i wish the 8 yr old boy a Speedy Recovery...
TSHEPODEE SAYS:
21 February: TSHEPODEE
its a very good thing that you are prepared to do for that little boy but all i need to know out of curiousity is that. if the boy get cured then what will happen are you ganna divorce him and send him home or maybe keep him so he can grow up or if he doesn't make it of which there is a possibility if we face reality then are you gonna be a widow
BROWNSUGASISTA SAYS:
21 February: Well i think that it is brave of Lerato to think about ways to help save the boy...if he can't get help in his own country why not be the hero and be known for saving a young boy's life,he will in turn be forever greatful to you Lerato, just know that you are saving a life and in turn saving the next prime minister or scientist.
KAEZEZO SAYS:
21 February: Her intensions are well. However I am sure there's other ways around this issue.
TEDDYGIRL SAYS:
21 February: This is truly sad imagine, such a process all of this just to LIVE....& then i get the idiot i have no clue of & still on investigation 4 marrying me without my consent (huge thank u to our fully dedicated Home Affairs mense) & his obviously living it up like no ones business on my expense & heres a kid needing such urgent attention...its truly sad & it sickens me as we protect our kids in everyway & there an 8year old walking down the ilse to say "I DO" this is going to further corrupt kids truly speaking as this will be their excusei 4see lots of miniture brides!!!!
PJ SAYS:
21 February: I don't see any problem with what Lerato is planning to do; however; in our country there's no way you can marry an 8 yrs old boy, 1st he doesn't have an id, 2ndly he still under parental guidance;lastly, she's old enough to be the boy's mother not a wife. Lerato think twice and adopt the boy. Wish you all the best.

BABYBLUE SAYS:
22 February: I think it is unfair on the rest of the foreigners coming to mzansi for similar reasons,if they can do it,how many more people are going to want to do the same? Lerato should first consider the consequences before she goes ahead with it...could she be starting a trend? How many people will abuse this cause?
