08 February : R&B superstar bursts with love for her man

Beyonce and Jay-Z are well known for keeping their professional and personal lives miles apart, which is why the hip hop mogul was gobsmacked when his new wife declared her love for him in front of millions! Beyonce had been collecting another accolade at the 2010 Grammy Awards when she mounted the stage and momentarily forgot what she was doing and saying.

“I’d love to thank my family for all their love and support, including my husband – I love you,” the singer gushed.

Shortly after, the Grammy Award winner explained that she had become so overwhelmed with excitement that she didn’t realise she had blurted the words out. Bey told Access Hollywood:

“He was shocked. He was just like, ‘What did you say?’ I was just like, ‘What did I just do? No, I didn’t just say that.’ I was so happy, I could’ve said anything. That’s why I ran off the stage.” The rapper’s reaction to his wife’s little speech was simply “you have six Grammys and you smell good.”
